The Wreath Barn was born in 1995 in Zionsville, IN.  At that time, I was designing dried and silk arrangements (wreaths, swags, centerpieces, door hangings, and baskets) for family members located across the country.  My family did an awesome job of spreading the word about Wreath Barn. In a short time period, I was receiving orders from a number of customers across the country for a variety of arrangements.

Naturally, I became intrigued with expanding my floral media. I took a number of classes at Indiana/Purdue University in Floral Design. Three of these courses specifically focused on wedding arrangements. Once these courses were completed, I was offered a job to work at my instructor’s flower shop in Indianapolis, IN (i.e. JP Parker Flowers). After taking these courses and working in several flower shops, I discovered a new passion for fresh flowers.

In the year 2000, Wreath Barn began to work with brides in helping them design the flowers for their special day. I enjoy designing and creating the flowers for all facets of the wedding ceremony and working one on one with the bride and groom to discuss the colors and styles of their floral arrangements, selecting the individual flowers, and last but not least the construction of the bouquets and other arrangements for their special day.

So whether is it dried, fresh, or silk flowers I truly do enjoy working one on one with my customers in helping design floral arrangements for their wedding, home, office, or for a holiday occasion.

Recently relocating to the Northwest, I look forward to establishing myself in this new area as a custom floral designer.
